Howdy,
The end of the month is quite literally upon us, which means it's our 13th birthday! Since our last birthday, we listed on the London Stock Exchange, and this Thursday we were delighted to receive the New Company of the Year Award at the plc awards for 2024. Let’s recap the rest of the week just gone before we march on to the next.
The highlight was Raspberry Pi Official Magazine's arrival hot off the press, looking all smart and shiny and new. It features all the community projects, build guides, and product reviews you loved in The MagPi, for the same price – and you can still get a free Raspberry Pi Pico W if you sign up to the six- or twelve-month print subscription. Get your copy now and check out our new look.
Earlier in the week, we revisited a brilliant floppy disk archiver story from our magazine that’s proving Raspberry Pi 3 has still got it (and so do floppy disks, for that matter). We also saw the second in a series of articles on Raspberry Pi’s sustainable practices, about how we reduced our packaging to save an estimated 500 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, and 55 tonnes of paper, each year.
Aaaand breathe. Now all that’s done, I can walk into next week with a spring in my step.
See you then,
Sarah
