Howdy,
It has been a very exciting week here at Pi Towers, with the launch of not one, but two products that we’ve been keeping hush-hush about for a while: Raspberry Pi 500+ and the M.2 HAT+ Compact.
Raspberry Pi 500+ is the ultimate all-in-one PC. Boasting a high-quality mechanical keyboard with removable keycaps and individually addressable RGB LEDs, 16GB of RAM, and an internal M.2 socket pre-fitted with a 256GB Raspberry Pi SSD, our premium compact desktop computer gives you fast, smooth performance even under heavy load. It is on sale now at $200.
The Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ Compact is a variant of our existing M.2 HAT+ that allows you to fit a 2230-format (30mm long) M.2 PCI Express board inside our official case, nestled neatly between the fan and the USB connectors. You can use it with your own PCI Express device or pair it with one of our 2230-format Raspberry Pi SSDs. It's available for just $15.
Issue 158 of Raspberry Pi Official Magazine is also out today. In this issue, we get to know the engineers behind Raspberry Pi 500+, and discover how the task of turning Raspberry Pi 500 into a mechanical keyboard wasn't as simple as it sounds…
We’ve had a lovely time seeing everyone’s reactions to Raspberry Pi 500+ today. We hope you have just as much fun when you get your hands on yours.
Peace,
Sarah
