Open up! We’ve got an 80’s handheld computer and a homemade drone in here…

Raspberry Pi Weekly

Howdy,

Welcome to the 'ber months, when you no longer have to make excuses to sit in pub gardens and can stay inside with all the cool new books released on a seemingly weekly basis at this time of year. We have decided to get in on that action and release the Book of Making 2025. It'll make a great gift for your favourite crafter.

Elsewhere this week, we saw an outstanding project by academics at the University of Exeter that uses Raspberry Pi Zero to track invasive hornet species; our summer intern managed to get his handmade drone flying at the eleventh hour; and you are going to love the retro aesthetics of Pilet, the mini Raspberry Pi 5 modular computer.

Peace,

Ashley
