Episode 02 of the Raspberry Pi Podcast is here!

Raspberry Pi Weekly

Howdy,

We thought nothing of it when we embedded a short video at the bottom of a blog about this incredible LiDAR scanner. Cut to one week later, and it's now our most-viewed YouTube video ever!

Our YouTube viewers and blog readers also loved this plane-tracking projector, which lets the maker, who lives directly under SFO's flight path, plane spot from the comfort of their own sofa.

In an attempt to piggyback on the global ball sport event currently taking place, we shared our own version of football fun: this nostalgic project that saves family football footage using a Raspberry Pi and a projector from 1928.

And finally, episode two of the Raspberry Pi Podcast is here! In this episode, Ken Okolo sits down with Simon Burgess from Raspberry Pi’s commercial team to explore how Raspberry Pi performs as a desktop PC. It's a good one, so whether you’re a home user curious about browsing the web and learning languages, or a business looking to reduce hardware and energy costs, this episode is well worth 15 minutes of your time.

Peace,

Ashley
