Raspberry Pi Weekly

Howdy,

We've teamed up with Humble Bundle once again to let you name your own price for a bundle of DRM-free Raspberry Pi Press e-books. Normally, the total cost of the books in this bundle is as much as £149.55 ($222), but you can pay as little as you like from £0.74. Your purchase will support the Raspberry Pi Foundation's work to help young people realise their potential through computing.

We loved seeing all the Raspberry Pi–powered ecological builds we were tagged in on Earth Day this week, and felt that this project investigating the favourite sounds of songbirds was a brilliant complement to the occasion. There are loads of examples of Raspberry Pi in the natural world — we collated a few favourites here, accompanied by what is possibly one of the best animations ever produced by our great in-house artist, Sam Alder.

Have you been keeping up with the cyberdeck craze currently sweeping the internet? There are so many new builds featuring Raspberry Pis housed in everything from 3D-printed seashells to Polly Pocket toys. It's been a joy to follow this new wave of young creators harnessing retro tech.

Peace,

Ashley
