Howdy,
I know I often say "this is a bumper issue", but this time I really mean it. There are
eleven whole articles for you to pore over, so I'll just run you through some highlights:
The
Book of Making 2026 is available now for just £14. Whether you're an experienced electronics programmer or just getting started, there's a project in here for you. Fire up your 3D printer, soldering iron, or Raspberry Pi, and start making.
If it's loads of new books you're after, then there are only a few days left to take advantage of our
Humble Bundle deal. For either $8 or $18, you'll receive electronic versions of top titles from Raspberry Pi Press, including our newest publications. Best of all, your purchase will support the Raspberry Pi Foundation's work to help young people reach their potential through computing. You only have until Monday to take part in this offer, so hurry!
Sticking with the book theme, we've revamped our
Bookshelf application. Contributors can now access subscriber-only titles in both PDF and ePUB formats, so you can read on your e-book platform of choice if you like.
We're still on the lookout for a wily, resourceful sort who can successfully break our new AES library. As it remains thus far unvanquished, we've extended the deadline for our
RP2350 hacking challenge to the end of the year.
And "finally" (apart from all the other articles I haven't the space to mention here), you can now develop embedded firmware for Raspberry Pi Pico using Rust or Zephyr with
pico-vscode.
I need to sit down.
