It’s been a good couple of weeks for Raspberry Pi people!

Raspberry Pi Weekly

Howdy,

We missed you last week, but that's only so we could save up loads of good news to spring on you all in one go. Five presents are better than one, right?

Some of our embedded customers want to integrate our camera technology into smaller form factors, so we rubbed our magic lantern and granted that wish. Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 Sensor Assemblies are now available to purchase as standalone products, priced from just $15.

LEGO® fans will be delighted to learn that the Build HAT firmware, together with its signing keys, is now open source and available under the permissive BSD 3-Clause licence.

We launched two books this week! Tim Danton's The Computers that Made the World tells the story of the birth of the technological world we now live in, all through the origins of twelve influential computers built between 1939 and 1950. It also sports one of the loveliest covers in our canon.

The second edition of Sean M. Tracey's Make games with Python was the second title launched this week, and we hope it inspires you to create games of your own.

And finally, for two days only, we’re bringing the Raspberry Pi store experience to Bristol, UK, this August. Come for a visit and make it a summer of Raspberry Pi!

Peace,

Ashley
