The Christmas issue of Raspberry Pi Official Magazine is here!

Raspberry Pi Weekly

Howdy,

Lots of you commented when we posted the 'What can you build with Raspberry Pi Zero?' feature. It was nice to see one of our older boards shaking off its middle-child syndrome and getting a turn in the spotlight.

We also finally got round to telling you about an initiative we saw at Open Sauce this summer. Participating schools grow their own plants in an ExoLab chamber while an identical experiment runs on the International Space Station. Students then compare their findings with the astronauts!

Our favourite article from the latest issue of Raspberry Pi Official Magazine saw a maker reimagine the humble business card as an electronic drum machine. I definitely wouldn't throw it away the minute after I received it.

Speaking of the latest issue, it's our Christmas one, and it features one of the most magical front covers so far, lovingly created by our illustrator Sam Alder. There's also our Christmas gift guide and the Big Quiz of 2025 inside. Have a read if you're feeling festive. Or not — there's other good stuff in there too.

Peace,

Ashley
